Gmail to support Safari Web browser

Google announced its new, free 1GB email service on March 31, 2004 without support for Safari, Apple’s Web browser. However, Sergey Brin, Google’s co-founder, has said that this will change before the service is publicly available. “We’re going to make it work with Safari and that’s one of the high priority things,” Brin told MacCentral in an interview. “I’ve heard that you can sort of get it to work if you’re desperate. I want to fix that, and I want to make it work really well.”
