LANDesk Software has released LANDesk Management Suite 8, version 8.1, an update to the integrated solution for managing an organization’s enterprise computing systems. The upgrade offers improved inventory capabilities, license monitoring, device discovery, remote control and additional language support. It offers client support for Mac OS X and Mac OS 8.x-9.x. LANDesk Management Suite 8, version 8.1 has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of US$89. The LANDesk Patch Manager is available on a subscription basis for $12 per node per year.
