eDial has announced the availability of its IM Web Access Server 2.0 (IWA). With IWA, enterprises and service providers can provide their employees, customers and partners, inside and outside the firewall, with the ability to access Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2003’s enterprise instant messaging (IM) and presence capabilities without the need for any additional desktop client software, a Virtual Private Network (VPN), or changes to enterprise firewalls. With version 2.0, IWA adds support for multiple browsers including Safari, Netscape, Mozilla, Opera and Firefox.
