Harman Multimedia today introduced JBL On Tour, a portable audio system “slightly larger than an eyeglass case and roughly the size of two iPods.” JBL On Tour works with all digital music players and personal CD/DVD players as well as laptop and desktop computers. It utilizes a stereo pair of Odyssey transducers and features six watts of total power. JBL On Tour sports touch volume controls, an integrated protective cover and stand, and white-chrome accents. The use of four standard AAA batteries provides more than 24 hours of operation at normal listening levels, according to Harman. JBL On Tour will be available in early August for US$99.95.
