@Last Software is previewing a new pre-visualization extension in their booth at the Siggraph 2004 Expo. The extension, dubbed SketchUp 4 Film & Stage, enhances SketchUp’s ability to serve as a pre-visualization tool for story boarding, animatics, set diagrams and technical documentation. Originally developed for use in the architecture, engineering and construction industries, the SketchUp 3D modeling system (which is Mac OS X compatible) is being used for pre-visualization in the entertainment, film and gaming industries, according to Brian Makare, president of @Last Software.
