Advenio has released MacGourmet 1.0, a new application that allows users to quickly and easily organize their recipes, wine notes and cooking notes. The company says that MacGourmet is like “iTunes for recipes,” allowing users to create and edit recipes, wine notes and cooking notes; easily browse their collections; build their own custom lists; import their MasterCook, MasterCook Mac and Meal-Master recipes; and publish their favorite recipes and notes to their .Mac accounts for others to see and share. Advenio also announced MacGourmet.com, a companion Web site to the MacGourmet application that features weekly recipes, kitchen gadget reviews, wine suggestions, news, recipes and recipe site reviews from around the web and more. MacGourmet requires Mac OS X v10.3 or later and is priced at US$24.95.
