Sony today announced three new Cyber-shot digital cameras. The 5.1 megapixel Cyber-Shot T3 [shown on right], which will be available in October for about US$500, features a 2.5-inch LCD viewfinder and a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens with 3X optical zoom. The 4.1 megapixel Cyber-Shot DSC-L1 also features a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens with 3X optical zoom, and will come four colors and finishes: brushed silver, dark blue matte, black, and a dark red piano gloss. The silver model will be available in mid-October, and the blue, black and red models will follow in January, each for about US$300. The 7.2 megapixel Cyber-Shot DSC-V3, which will be available in mid-October for about $700, features a Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar lens with 4x optical zoom, a 2.5-inch LCD viewfinder, and more.
