The organizers of AppleScript Pro Sessions have announced two special guest presenters for the November 8-12 event in Newport, Rhode Island. Matt Neuburg, author of “AppleScript: The Definitive Guide” from O’Reilly, and TidBITS Contributing Editor since 1991, will be leading an expanded session on AppleScript Studio. Neuburg will also be presenting a bonus session covering new AppleScript support in Microsoft Word 2004. In addition, Duane Mitchell of Next Generation Solutions will be leading a session on integrating Unix shell commands with AppleScript. Mitchell is the founder of the Boston AppleScript Users Group. Pricing starts at US$1200 for any three days, with a special discounted package of $1600 for all five days. The early bird rate is available through October 6, or until the event sells out.
