Apple has posted details of its 15-inch PowerBook G4 Display Repair Extension Program, which offers replacement of LCDs that show faint white spots on the screen of certain PowerBooks. The issue affects both Aluminum and Titanium 15-inch PowerBooks that were manufactured from July 2003 through November 2003. To qualify for the repair program, your PowerBook serial number must fall between one of two serial number ranges: V7334xxxxxx to V7345xxxxxx or QT331xxxxxx to QT339xxxxxx. Apple said it will also reimburse PowerBook owners who have already paid for eligible repairs.
