Apple’s iTunes Music Store is now offering the first single from Eminem’s upcoming new album, which is due out November 16. A quick check of other online digital music retailers shows that Apple is the exclusive provider of the song, entitled “Just Lose It.” As widely reported, Eight Mile Style, Eminem’s music publisher, is suing Apple claiming that the company used one of the rapper’s songs in an iTunes television commercial without permission. The latest news on the dispute came last week when lawyers for Eminem’s music label, Apple and MTV asked a federal judge to delay the trial following settlement talks.
