Sun Microsystems has announced a new version of Sun Java Studio Creator, its visual development environment, that brings support for Mac OS X and the Solaris Operating System (x86 Platform Edition). “This offering gives x86 and Mac developers access to the greater ease of use and performance features from Java Studio Creator and the Java platform. Mac developers looking for expert advice and information on Java-related topics, including Java Studio Creator, are invited to visit the vibrant Mac Java community.” The new version also includes language support for Japanese and simplified Chinese. Java Studio Creator is available as part of the US$99 Sun Developer Network subscription program.
