MYOB today announced AccountEdge 2005, the latest version of its small business management and accounting software. This release includes a new Payroll Forms Service that brings the ability to print and electronically file over 250 US Federal and State tax forms, including forms W-2, W-3, 940, and 941 directly from the software. The new version also offers complete payroll processing, recurring transaction scheduling, batch emailing of statements and invoices, and remote credit card processing. MYOB also announced AccountEdge 2005 Network Edition, which contains all of the features of AccountEdge, plus it is optimized for multiple users to simultaneously work over a Mac OS X network. MYOB AccountEdge is priced at US$299 for a single-user license, while the Network Edition is available with three user licenses for $399.
