CMP Media’s Digital Video Group today announced that its 8th Annual Digital Video Expo West conference program will feature certified training programs in major professional video applications from Apple and Avid, conducted by instructors from each company. Apple will present its Apple Certified Pro courses, which run two-and-a-half days each and feature hands-on training in the following applications: Final Cut Pro HD, Motion, DVD Studio Pro 3, and Logic. Meanwhile, Avid will present a three-day, two-day, one day, and week-long program offering intensive instruction and testing in Avid Xpress Pro. Digital Video Expo West will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center December 5-10.
