Intelli Innovations today announced IntelliScanner Wine Collector, an integrated hardware/software package for cataloging personal wine collections. By scanning the retail bar code found on any wine bottle with the bundled Bluetooth wireless or USB reader, Wine Collector enters the name, varietal, winery, country, type, color, region, and more with Internet-enabled AutoFill capabilities. The software also offers maturity tracking and advanced tools for ratings, tasting notes, and sharing. Wine Collector will begin shipping on January 10. It can be pre-ordered now for US$179 (USB) or $279.00 (Bluetooth).
