Iomega today began shipping three triple-interface models of the newly redesigned Iomega External Hard Drive. All three models, which are the fastest external hard drives Iomega has delivered to date, come with backup and disaster recovery software and offer USB 2.0, FireWire 400, and FireWire 800 connectivity. The 7200 RPM drives also feature a Kensington security slot and a new, high-gloss black finish enclosure. All three models are now shipping with suggested retail pricing starting at US$199 for the 160GB model, $279 for the 250GB model, and $429 for the 400GB model.
