Australian iTunes Music Store coming tomorrow?

The Age is reporting that Apple is expected to announce the launch of an Australian version of its iTunes Music Store tomorrow at Macworld Expo. “Reports in December suggested Apple had completed negotiations with Australian record companies in the lead-up to a launch early this year,” notes the article. In fact, Apple is believed to have flown senior executives to Australia for the announcement, The Age reports. Songs are expected to be priced at AUD$0.99¢ a track and $9.99 an album, which depending upon exchange rates is considerably cheaper than other markets. Apple has made no comment, as is its policy.
