Insider Software today announced the release of FontAgent Pro 3, the latest version of the company’s integrated font management, diagnostics, optimization and repair utility. Some of the new features in version 3 include: live searching and fast filtering of font metadata, user-configurable startup sets, a new Setup Wizard, a new interface design, multiple WYSIWYG font views, the ability to protect sets and libraries from accidental deletion, a new font diagnostic algorithm, automatic database optimization, and more. In addition, FontAgent Pro 3 also addresses requests made by administrators and IT managers — the new version enables them to stop users from adding, removing and renaming fonts, sets and libraries, as well as lock configuration settings for startup sets and preferences.
