VRTools ships version 2.5 of deliVRator

Melbourne, Australia, Jan 21st, 2005 — VRTools today announced the
availability of deliVRator 2.5, reaffirming its commitment to the
worldwide community of QuickTime VR content producers.

deliVRator is a QuickTime movie editor for Macintosh offering the most
effective way to optimize web delivered QuickTime movies. It maximizes
interactivity for enhanced user experience of the movie while downloading
within the browser. Optimized movies can be tested immediately, at any
connection speed, with the emulated network connection.

Version 2.5 is a bug fix update to the greatly enhanced version 2.0,
introduced in June 2004. Version 2.0 features include
– graphical editing interface to enhance QuickTime VR movies
– create/edit low resolution preview images for web faststart QTVR
– create/paint hotspot areas, edit hotspot links, create hotspot cursors
– supports vertical and horizontal cylindrical and cubic panorama nodes
– supports QTVR Object nodes plus any mix of these in multinode movies
– add canned wired sprite actions such as VR autopan
– access/edit movie userdata: Copyright, Author etc. Fullscreen
– content protection levels from “no save” up to cgi byte served media
– access low level QuickTime data at media block level
– QTAtomContainer editor, video recompressor

deliVRator is used by QuickTime content producers to prepare internet ready
interactive QTVR and sprite movies and by QuickTime application developers
to understand the format of interactive movies.
