O’Reilly launches MAKE magazine

O’Reilly has announced MAKE magazine, a new quarterly publication for tech do-it-yourselfers. “The urge to make things is primal and unstoppable. In service of that universal urge, humans grab the tools and materials at hand–while a previous generation picked up a saw and bullnose rabbet plane, today’s makers are likely to reach for a soldering iron and Cat 5 cable. MAKE, a new magazine from O’Reilly, celebrates and inspires those who are driven to make cool and unusual things with technology, for the pure fun of it. The premiere issue features 192 pages of do-it-yourself projects.” Available today on Amazon.com and from the magazine’s site–and at newsstands in mid-March–MAKE is published quarterly. Single copies are US$14.99 and a yearly subscription is $34.95.
