Celebrities both humble and rude at Apple Stores

Wired News writer Leander Kahney has put together an interesting look at how Hollywood stars act when they visit Apple’s four retail stores in the Los Angeles area. The article quotes Apple Store employees who describe how celebs–such as Robin Williams, Val Kilmer, Fred Durst, Andre 3000, Pink, the Wayans brothers, Director Kevin Smith and more–act in the stores while looking for Apple gear. According to the article, Melanie Griffith threw a tantrum and “pretty much demanded” a pink iPod mini when she was told none were in stock. Meanwhile, the Daily Show’s Jon Stewart “finds what he wants, smiles and leaves,” Kiefer Sutherland “thanks you like 40 times when you’re helping him,” and Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails is “super nice” and is always buying gifts for his band.
