Everyday Software has released Maquarium 2.0, a new version of its aquarium management software. Maquarium allows users to track chemicals, schedule tasks, keep notes, and manage the inventory of their aquariums. Version 2.0 offers a refreshed user interface and adds support for plant, coral and invertebrate profiles in addition to fish profiles. Maquarium 2.0 also fully supports AppleScript allowing users to automate aquarium maintenance using home automation software and aquarium compatible x-10 devices. Other changes include: improved condition tracking, expense tracking, the ability to export conditions to file, a reef compatibility flag for fish profiles, better iCal support, and more. Maquarium sells for US$24.
