Shure introduces new earphones to complement iPod nano

Shure Incorporated today introduced a new line of its E Series Sound Isolating Earphones designed specifically to complement the iPod nano. Three models, including the E2c, E3c, and E4c, will be now be available in black, in addition to Shure’s hallmark white. “With the nano experiencing immense consumer popularity since its September launch, analysts are forecasting that more than 5 million iPod nano units will be sold worldwide in 2005,” notes the announcement. “In response, Shure anticipates that consumer demand for complementary, premium-grade earphones will witness similar growth trends.” The new black E Series Sound Isolating Earphones will begin shipping in November starting at US$99.
