iPod, mobile jacket from Motorola/Burton unveiled

Motorola and Burton Snowboards has introduced new winter jackets that include Bluetooth functionality targeted at iPods and mobile phones, reports Macworld UK. “The Audex jacket carries a control panel on the left-hand sleeve, which will access incoming and outgoing calls, and iPod music selection,” notes the story. “Wearers can wirelessly connect a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone to the panel, while hooking up their iPod using hidden cables within the jacket. Speakers and a microphone are located in the hood for taking and making calls and listening to music.” The Audex Jacket is priced at US$599.95.
