Praevius today announced the release of SoftBooks Pro 2.0, a full-featured Payroll and Business Management application for Mac OS X that features: estimates, invoices, time tracking, ledger, customer management, inventory/supplier management, services, and categories. New features in version 2 include: payroll and employees, Address Book support, interface improvements, and more. All registered users of SoftBooks 1.0.x will receive a free upgrade to SoftBooks Pro (US$129.95 for new customers). In addition, purchasers of SoftBooks Pro may be eligible to win an iPod, Mac mini or a MacBook Pro (100th purchaser will receive an iPod, 500th purchaser will receive a Mac mini, and the 1,000th purchaser will receive a MacBook Pro).
