Bare Bones Software today released Yojimbo 1.2, an update to their reliable, effortless information organizer. Version 1.2 features a new “Copy Item Link” command that enables Yojimbo customers to place links to Yojimbo items in other applications, such as iCal. Other features of this update include: a pair of bookmarklets that facilitate bookmarking or archiving a page to Yojimbo with a single click; highlights search terms when displaying the results of a search; a new “Quick Start” movie, combined with a new “Getting Started” reference document in the Yojimbo help; allows bookmarks to export as clipping files; includes an enhanced “import” scripting verb; and other improvements, refinements, and fixes to reported issues. Yojimbo requires Mac OS X 10.4.3 or later and is priced at US$39.
