Apple has announced it is opening a new retail store in Atlantic City, NJ on August 19, 2006. The store, which is located at at The Pier at Caesars, One Atlantic Ocean, Space #BW-112, will be open to the public at 11:00 a.m. EDT. As part of its usual Grand Opening promotion, Apple will give away an Apple T-shirt to the first 1,000 people to visit the store. In addition, the company is offering a chance to win a Digital Lifestyle Collection valued at US$2,229. The winner will receive a 17-inch flat-panel Intel Core Duo iMac, an iPod nano, a Canon PowerShot SD450 digital camera, a Sony Handycam CCD-TRV138, and an HP Deskjet 5440 printer. No purchase is necessary, and entries must be received from August 19 through September 19.
