dual-boot CD–

Union City, CA October 26th, 2006 — SubRosaSoft.com Inc., a software
company focusing on system utility and data recovery software, today
announced the availability of MacForensicsLab version 1.6.
MacForensicsLab is a complete suite of forensics and analysis tools
in one cohesive package. Designed to work on Windows, Macintosh, and
Linux storage devices, MacForensicsLab is the first all-in-one,
easy-to-use forensics software suite for Mac OS X. The new version
sports better performance, a much-requested user audit feature, and a
dual-bootable CD which supports the latest machines.

Version 1.6 of MacForensicsLab represents SubRosaSoft’s first fully
Universal Binary application. This allows the software to
automatically run at peak performance on any Mac architecture.
Combined with code optimization on the user interface module of the
software, MacForensicsLab 1.6 runs a lot faster than its predecessors.

MacForensicsLab 1.6 also brings the investigator a new tool for
auditing user-specific information. The Audit feature allows the
investigator to gather information regarding user preferences,
internet browsing habits, and most of the user-inputted information
such as addresses, caches and various log information that may be of
use to an investigation.

Last, but not least, MacForensicsLab is now available on a dual-boot
CD, allowing investigators to boot both PowerPC and Intel-based
Macintosh systems quickly and easily. This new dual-boot CD supports
most Macs ranging from the G4 to the latest Mac Pro.

Written specifically for Mac OS X, MacForensicsLab includes powerful
features that give a user excellent flexibility and control in data
analysis, evidence retrieval, and fact reporting.

MacForensicsLab will be on exhibit and included in the Mac OS X labs
at the annual High Tech Crime Investigation Association International
Training Conference & Expo being held in Cleveland, Ohio from October
30th to November 1st 2006.
