iNuron today announced the beta release of its Mc Nucle software 1.0, the first in a series of metadata management servers targeting home and small office networks. It turns Macintosh desktops and servers into general purpose metadata management servers, and plugs in on the Spotlight index in Mac OS X. iNuron releases the Mc Nucle v1.0 beta under a closed beta program with 1,000 licenses on offer at €29, including a free upgrade to a full personal edition license upon final release, which is expected in early 2007 for €69. The Nucle Browser is free.
