Artlandia has released Artlandia SymmetryWorks 4, a major new version of its plug-in for Adobe Illustrator that solves the problem of creating repeating patterns for many applications, including surface and textile design, Web page backgrounds, and others. “SymmetryWorks 4 builds around new capabilities for working with replicas (live copies) that automate the creation of new classes of pattern designs and provide new ways to quickly and automatically add repetition to patterns and enhance the harmony and balance in pattern designs.” SymmetryWorks 4 is priced at US$229 for the download version ($75 for upgrade).
