Chronos releases SOHO Notes 6.0

Chronos today announced the release of SOHO Notes 6.0, a major upgrade to its premier note manager for Mac OS X. Some of the new features in version 6 include: Forms (users can design their own custom forms with fields specific to the information they want to store); Smart Folders (users can define Smart Folders to include notes that meet specific criteria. Smart Folders are useful for aggregating related notes regardless of the actual folder(s) the note belongs to); Scanning (users can scan single or multi-page documents with a flat bed or document scanner directly into SOHO Notes as PDF notes); Keywords (users can assign reusable keywords to their notes so they can later search and find their notes by keyword); 256-bit Encryption (private notes are now securely encrypted using 256-bit encryption (AES-256 — approved by U.S. Government for classified information) to safeguard user’s important and confidential information); and much more. SOHO Notes 6.0 requires Mac OS X 10.4.9 or later, and is a US$25 upgrade for registered SOHO Notes and StickyBrain users. Pricing for new users is $39.99.
