MovieWorks Deluxe Renamed to MediaWorks, Universal Version

MovieWorks Deluxe Renamed to MediaWorks
– Universal Mac Version to be Released this Month

PLEASANTON, Calif., July 9, 2007 – Interactive Solutions, Inc. today
announced MovieWorks Deluxe will be renamed to MediaWorks with the launch
of the Universal Macintosh version 6.2 later in the month. In addition to
the new update, the company will launch a new website
(http://www.mediaworkssoftware.com), a new Product Tour (created with
MediaWorks), completely updated Help, and a new “Getting Started” document.
The update will be free for registered users of 6.0 or higher.

“MediaWorks is a much better name than MovieWorks for the types of
multimedia projects it is able to create! Half of our users are creating
amazing “movie-type” productions that are not possible or difficult in
other low-end, affordable movie and slide show editors, and the other half
are creating high-quality, precisely-timed interactive presentations
without the learning curve and expense of other high-end authoring tools,”
says Bill LaCommare, President, Interactive Solutions, Inc. “We are all
thrilled to finally have a name that better positions our flagship product
in the market.”

David Hentschel, legendary Record Producer for Elton John, Genesis and
others says, “I looked at all the other software available for authoring my
cross-platform multimedia biographical presentation and found each package
wanting due to either inadequate features, unnecessary complexity,
unreliability, steep learning curves or prohibitive cost. After a quick web
search, I came upon MovieWorks Deluxe which I almost discounted due to the
fact that its name led me to believe it was only for creating movies.
However, literally within minutes of downloading the demo, I was authoring
an interactive presentation. MediaWorks is so intuitive and includes all
the tools I needed in one very user-friendly package. Furthermore, the
finished standalone DVD-ROM looks and performs equally well on Mac OS X and
Windows. The name change is a great idea and should help introduce this
amazing software application to many new users.”

“The name change to MediaWorks is great news! No name is better to describe
its range of capabilities,” says Joe Morris, Technology Director, Gillispie
Elementary School and Apple Distinguished Educator. “Our students have used
MovieWorks Deluxe for the last 3 years to create clay animation movies and
a variety of interactive projects including adventure stories and history
reports. MediaWorks, without a doubt, is one of the best interactive,
multimedia authoring programs available!”

MediaWorks combines simple-to-use video, sound, animation and paint/photo
editors with a powerful multimedia authoring program. Create
precisely-timed presentations and a variety of different kinds of movies
with unprecedented ease, speed, quality and affordability. Deliver finished
presentations on a computer or data CD/DVD, or exported movies on a
consumer DVD player, iPod or web page. The five integrated applications
(Author, Paint/Photo, Sound, Video & Animator) work together seamlessly,
making it easy to incorporate analog (AV) or digital (DV) video, buttons,
photos, graphics, animations, 3D, narration, MIDI, MP3, CD music, text and
titling, and even Virtual Reality (VR) movies into stunning,
professional-quality multimedia productions.

MediaWorks MSRP is $79.95, and installers for Mac OS X and Windows are
included on a single CD. MediaWorks is distributed by Academic Distributing
in the Education market, and Lab Packs are available in 2, 5, 10, 25 and
100 unit configurations. MediaWorks requires a 500+ MhZ PC running Windows
98 or better, or a Power Macintosh with Mac OS X 10.2 or better. A CD or
DVD drive is required, 100 MB or more of available hard drive space and 256
mb or more of RAM is recommended. An analog to digital video capture
product, or DV camcorder connected via IEEE-1394 (FireWire) or USB-2 are
optional.
