Mariner Software today released the beta version of Montage 1.3, its Mac-specific screenwriting software. Announced earlier this year, Montage 1.3 is the most powerful version to date, introducing several new features, including the ability to export Montage scripts to Final Draft (.fdr). Version 1.3 also introduces: the ability to export Montage scripts to Screenwriter (.sex); support for French, German, Italian and Spanish; significant improvements in importing Final Draft import; speed enhancements; and several bug fixes. The shipping version of Montage 1.3 is expected to be released in November and will sell for US$139.95. Mac OX 10.3.9 or later is required.
