Orbicule has released Undercover 2, the company’s theft recovery solution exclusively designed for Mac OS X. Undercover is the first native theft-recovery application for Leopard. Changes in version 2 include: a dead-Mac-timeout feature (if a Mac is not connected to the Net for more than two months, it will automatically be locked); now only connects to the Internet when a network change occurs; memory footprint and CPU usage have been dramatically reduced; and dozens of under-the-hood improvements and fixes.
