LaCie today announced five new products at this year’s CES in Las Vegas. These include a newly redesigned LaCie d2 Quadra with quadruple interface (USB/FW400/FW800/eSATA) usability. Available in capacities of 320GB to 1TB, the new drive is available today starting at US$189. LaCie Little Big Disk Quadra (designed by Neil Poulton) is a mobile disk designed for speed-intensive and capacity demanding applications such as digital content creation, high-volume data exchange, and video editing — all while on the road. The Little Big Disk Quadra is available starting today in 400GB and 500GB versions with either 7200 or 5400 RPM drives, respectively, with prices starting at $475.
