Freeverse has released Flick Bowling
(http://freeverse.com/games/game/?id=8011) for the iPhone and iPod
touch. It offers a game-play experience that allows a player to have
more control of the action; using a flick of their finger, players
can line up their shot, and adjust the speed and direction of the
ball.
Flick Bowling sports colorful characters and 3D console-quality
environments, says Ian Lynch Smith, pesident of Freeverse. The
touch-screen interface on the iPhone and iPod touch allows Freeverse
to build games that have never been possible before, he adds.
Freeverse plans to release additional Flick Sports titles for the
iPhone, including Flick Fishing, Golf, Basketball, Baseball, and
Soccer. Flick Bowling is immediately available for US$4.99 at the
Apple App Store.
