Stellar Data Recovery has launched Stellar Phoenix Macintosh Data
Recovery 3.5 (http://www.macintosh-data-recovery.com/), an update of
the application for retrieving lost data. The upgrade has a new
bootable DVD feature.
If your Mac won’t boot up, this DVD overrides the operating system to
permit access to data. The DVD is available in Stellar’s boxed
version or can be burned to DVD from the download version.
Stellar Phoenix Macintosh Data Recovery is backed up with 24X5
technical support and also continues to offer advancements of the
product through Live Updates option. It’s an Universal Binary product
that works on both Intel and Power PC Macs.
A demo is available at the Stellar Phoenix web site. Stellar gives
two options of purchasing this software. First one is downloading
demo version via the Internet and activating it, and the second one
is ordering a box version. They cost US$129 and $149, respectively,
for a single-user license.
