Contacts Go Global in Kerio MailServer 6.7

Latest Version Provides Global Address List, Powerful Email Security and
Support for Ubuntu and Debian Linux

SAN JOSE, CA–(Marketwire – May 12, 2009) – Kerio Technologies, Inc., a
leading innovator in IT security and messaging, today announced the
availability of its cross-platform Kerio MailServer 6.7. With a new Global
Address List, enhanced anti-spam protection and support for Debian and
Ubuntu Linux, Kerio MailServer 6.7 improves the security and manageability
of email-based collaboration for small and medium sized organizations
looking for more efficient team collaboration.

Kerio Global Address List (GAL) provides an easy way to access and view
contact information of everyone in the corporate directory from a groupware
client such as Microsoft Outlook. Larger organizations implementing Kerio
GAL gain greater efficiency in day-to-day work. Kerio Global Address List
is synchronized with Microsoft Active Directory, Apple Open Directory and
Kerio’s own user directory.

“While SMEs have the same communication and security needs as large
enterprises, they all too often lack similar IT and financial resources,”
said Tim Doherty, IDC analyst for Small and Medium-Sized Business Markets:
Mobility. “Products such as Kerio MailServer that are simple to deploy,
aggressively priced for smaller businesses, and offer secure wireless
access to contacts and email are ideally suited to serve this segment.”

“The new global address list in this release is immediately displayed on
mobile devices and allows users within an organization to access everyone
from anywhere, anytime, which is simply priceless,” said John Simmonds,
vice president of Syncron CyberKare Technologies, a Preferred Partner based
in Canada. “The added native support for the Apple iCal CalDAV will greatly
enhance the client experience with Private and Shared Calendars. With the
new IMAP tool, it will be seamless to transfer data from any server and
switch our customers to Kerio MailServer.”

“The Kerio Global Address List dramatically simplifies the management of
contact information, which has always been a pain in growing
organizations,” said Tomas Soukup, product development manager for
Messaging at Kerio. “Because new users are dynamically added to the Kerio
GAL, they immediately gain access to names, job titles, email addresses,
phone numbers, or postal addresses of all their colleagues.”

Kerio MailServer 6.7 also features an enhanced anti-spam gateway optimized
to take advantage of multi-CPU servers with speed improvements derived from
the fast parallel processing of email messages. Kerio’s multi-layer spam
protection now implements an innovative auto-learn method for Bayes filter
that dramatically speeds up the building of a fine-tuned Bayesian heuristic
database making Kerio anti-spam protection more effective than ever.

Shifting customer preferences in Linux distributions are reflected in the
newly added support for Debian 5 and Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Linux, giving
customers a wide choice of desktop and server Linux operating systems,
which previously included Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SuSE Linux and CentOS.

The new Kerio IMAP Migration Tool makes it very easy to move email messages
from another IMAP-based email server system to Kerio MailServer. The Kerio
IMAP Migration Tool runs on Windows, Mac OS X or Linux and transfers
domains, accounts, folders and email messages from any local or hosted IMAP
server to Kerio MailServer.

Mobile email has long been the focus of Kerio MailServer, which now works
with the latest DataViz RoadSync 4.0 client, giving road warriors better
push email on more than 100 popular smartphones including Nokia, Sony
Ericsson, Palm, Motorola, LG and Samsung.

Kerio MailServer is available for Windows, Mac OS X, VMware, and Linux and
fully supports Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Entourage and smartphones such
as Apple iPhone or BlackBerry. The messaging and collaboration solution
integrates mobile email, calendaring and resource scheduling with email
security features including multi-layer anti-spam, flexible dual antivirus
control, attachment filtering, and archiving. The product is localized into
16 languages.
