Runtime Revolution 4.0 lets you deploy apps straight to the web

The Runtime Revolution programming tool has been updated to version
4.0. The new version brings the ability to deploy your application
straight to the web, without recoding or writing a line of HMTL.

Just select “Build for Web” from the file menu and exactly the same
application as you previously deployed on the desktop can run in any
standard web browser, according to Kevin Miller, Runtime Revolution
CEO. The software works on Mac, Windows and Linux systems.

“The last two years have seen the most impressive growth in our
business, pointing to a correlation between a tough global economy
and the resourcefulness of professionals who need to do more with
less,” he adds. “Our goal is to enable rapid creation of
applications, and that’s exactly what we’re doing with Rev 4.0. With
a free version and Web plugin, anyone can begin writing software
right away — empowering students to model and explore the real
world, businesses to excite customers with new products, or
organizations to improve productivity with customized tools.”

Revolution is available in three editions: Revolution Enterprise
(US$499), intended for professional programmers; Revolution Studio
($249), for consultants and business managers; Revolution Media
($49), for beginners a free trial of version 4.0 here:
