Jobs reportedly calls Flash a dying technology

Apple CEO Steve Jobs once called Blu-ray a “bag of hurt,” and he apparently feels the same way about Flash. According to a “Valleywag” report (http://gawker.com/5474900/what-steve-jobs-said-during-his-wall-street-journal-ipad-demo), Apple’s head honcho tried to convince “The Wall Street Journal” to ditch Flash and move to the iPad.

Like other newspapers and web site, the “Journal” is a heavy Flash user. However, according to “Valleywag,” Jobs told “Journal” execs that:

° Flash is a CPU hog;

° A source of security holes;

° A dying technology (like the floppy drive).
