Opera has announced that its mobile browser, Opera Mini has been approved for iPhone and iPod touch, and is available for free.

Hypercom Corp. has announced the first two members of a product family that enable smartphones to accept card payments. The two SmartPayments Mobile payment solutions are for merchants with iPhones who need flexible and secure card present processing capabilities on the smartphone platform. They’re due in June; pricing hasn’t been announced.

Panacea Solutions has released iStudy PMP Exam for iPhone and iPod touch users studying for their Project Management Professional exam. It’s a free download.

PLR Concepts has announced Name That Jersey Pro Football for the iPhone and iPod touch. It’s a $0.99 pro football trivia game where a player guesses NFL player names for each franchise team.

A new iPhone app from FoodEssentials allows consumers to scan any food label in-store and immediately access a complete list of ingredient properties. Scanner 2.0 ($4.99) uses a traffic light system to show the presence and value of any allergen, additive, ingredient or nutrient as set by the user.

BaselineAgent.com has shipped BaselineAgent 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch users who play tennis. The $199.99 app gives athletes the ability” to manage every aspect of their career, right from their iDevice,” including features such as tournament listings, travel bookings and visa applications.

288 Vroom has produced Mysteries Of The World 1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch. Filled with descriptions, images, and reference links, the $0.99 app “explores unsolved mysteries throughout history and modern day such as ancient civilizations, aliens, real-life monsters, and more.” It has over 100 reference links that can be open within the app.

Photography Tips has introduced Poses Professional 1.0 for the iPhone. The $4.99 app is for photographers and is designed to help them matching a model to a pose with the iPhone’s camera.

SingMyRing is offering NameTones 1.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch. The $0.99 app contains over 2,000 English names and nine musical styles to give users over 18,000 ways to express themselves. NameTones also allows users to create and send customized ringtones to friends and contacts.

Freeverse has released Warpgate for the iPhone and iPod touch. It’s a $4.99 space exploration game with over 35 star-systems, 172 different starships, over 100 main quests and “never-ending, non-quest” missions.

RHUB Communications, the provider of TurboMeeting web conferencing solutions, says TurboMeeting 4.1 is iPad compatible. It’s a web conferencing solution that allows attendees to join without downloading any kind of software and is completely compatible with the new Apple device, as well as a Wi-Fi-connected iPhone.

SugarCRM, a provider of commercial open source customer relationship management (CRM) software, has updated Sugar, its flagship product, to version 6. The new version offers iPad compatibility and a new interface.

Zuujit says Zuujit for Online Selling is now iPad compatible. The free app is for creating an eBay listing.

GameBook has released GameBook 1.2 for iPhone users. It’s an update of the $19.99 scoring app that offers live leaderboards for multiple groups, side game, contest and wager tracking, web site syncing and an on-line community for players.

POS Portal has served up PunchSpot 1.0.1 for iPhone users. It’s an update of the free app that lets users find local places, build groups of favorites, and share them with their friends.

Vividnoise has released Linkie 1.0.55, available exclusively for iPhone and iPod touch devices. It’s a $1.99a tool for shortening, sharing, and tracking URLs created using the Bit.ly URL shortening service. Users can synchronize their Bit.ly or j.mp accounts directly to their iPhone or iPod touch, enabling them to access the statistics of their shortened URLs on the go. The application also enables users to share their statistics with friends or colleagues via email.

Beauty Minder 1.1 is a new version of the $3.99 beauty organizer for the iPhone and iPod touch. Features include Google maps, direct dial and email, expense tracking, reminders, and calendar function. In addition, Beauty Minder is fully customizable.

Sarsoft has introduced Geotag Photos 1.1 for the iPhone. The $1.99 app lets users identify the location of a photo using the GPS Metadata recorded by Geotag Photos. Sarsoft provides a free online app that geotags each photo by matching the GPS location recorded by the app with the time the picture was taken.

Electric Pocket has announces BugMe! 1.03, an update to the iPad version of the original note-taker and reminder application. The $0.99 app lets users jot quick notes and doodles, with their finger as the pen, just like a digital sticky note. Version 1.03 now includes BugMe!’s Quick Alarms, which make it simple to pick a time to get “bugged”, and keyboard support which let users type text onto notes as well as scribble them with a finger.

Ilium Software has updated their $9.99 eWallet password manager. The new version includes new features and improvements for eWallet on the iPad. Ilium Software also released a new version of eWallet Lite to the App Store, adding iPad support. The free Lite version has all the same features as eWallet, but is limited to 10 cards in one wallet file.

Super Monko has released Sagakure’s Love or Dump 1.0.1, an update of its $2.99 app. Now running on the iPad. Sagakure’s Love or Dump is designed “to help the player clarify which potential real-life love match is the right one to choose.”

SelfServeApps has served up Thai Me Up 1.0.4, an update of their free Thai restaurant location service for San Francisco for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. With 155 Thai restaurants in the downtown San Francisco area, Thai Me Up app users can see which Thai restaurants are closest to their current location. Thai Me Up also includes links to several popular Thai sites including Temple of Thai where they can order Thai ingredients, cookware, cookbooks and everything needed to prepare a traditional Thai meal.
