Harman International Industries has released the JBL On Time Micro (http://www.jbl.com), a compact alarm-clock docking station that’s compatible with all versions of the iPod, iPhone, MP3 and CD players, and desktop and laptop computers.

The On Time Micro plays songs and features an AM/FM RDS radio, and seven independent alarms. Inside the On Time Micro’s small, hand-friendly shape and industrial design, its technology produces big, consistent sound and includes advanced driver components, says Christopher M. Dragon, Harman’s director of consumer and field marketing. It also features a large, backlit LCD screen with automatic dimming, an auxiliary input for additional audio sources, a remote control that allows you to select the volume and tracks, and iPod and iPhone menu displays.

Plus, Harman’s Evercharge technology powers and recharges the iPod or iPhone unit when it’s docked or when the entire alarm clock is turned off. The JBL On Time Micro combines many proprietary technologies to provide the highest quality sound and reproduces astonishing bass from any direction and location within a room, Dragon says.

The JBL On Time Micro is compatible with all docking versions of the iPod (including iPod nano G3, iPod classic and iPod touch), iPhone, MP3 and CD players, and desktop and laptop computers (all platforms). It has a suggested retail price of US$249 and is available now at retail stores.
