PowPowGames has announced its first iPhone game, Rocket Boy 2D, an US$0.99, RPG oriented action side scroller with animation, artwork and a ton of guns and equipment to use. It features more than 35 guns with over 70 items to equip, a RPG like leveling system and 3 worlds to fight in.

Davka Corporation has released Talking Hebrew Word Book 1.0 for the iPad, a $5.99 Hebrew language tool featuring over 500 modern Hebrew phrases, expressions and words. Designed for tourists, travelers, and students alike, each word and phrase is pronounced in Israeli-accented Hebrew, and appears on screen with English translation and a descriptive photo or illustrative cartoon. It’s divided into 18 phrase sections and 29 word sections.

Icanology has debuted MathGirl Number Garden Lite 1.0, a free version of their game for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Designed just for girls, MathGirl combines cute, fresh graphics and the engagement of gaming with a visual, right-brain approach to numbers. Players win stars for prizes for their personal gardens. They can play at their own speed and replay levels to get faster and make more points.

Viaden Mobile has introduced All-in Yoga 1.0, a $1.99 app for the iPhone/iPod touch that offers a straightforward approach to yoga practice. It features detailed instructions for 200 poses, real-life pictures, videos and voice guidance.

Outfit7 has unleashed Talking Baby Hippo 1.0, its second talking character app for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Talking Baby Hippo is a 3D character suitable for children aged 2-7. He repeats everything a user says with his baby voice. Talking Baby Hippo is available separately as an iPhone or an iPad app — $1.99 and $2.99, respectively — and features speech detection, entertaining animations and video recording.

Sophiestication Software has updated its Wikipedia app, Articles, for the iPhone and iPod touch to version 1.3. The update of the $2.99 app provides a new language picker to quickly switch between various article localizations. The new version also sports a table of contents sheet.

Pen Power has revved WorldCard Mobile and WorldCard Contacts to support the iPhone OS 4 and its improved features. WorldCard Mobile ($3.99) stores your business card information as contacts, without you having to manually enter inputs from your business cards. WorldCard Contacts ($5.99), an alternative to native iPhone contacts, performs great functions that are not available with iPhone contacts.

Fountainhead International has introduced StretchPro 1.1, an update to its $2.99 app for video-guided stretching throughout the day for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. With iOS4, users can now set push reminders to perform simple stretches to help reduce muscle strain, fatigue, stress, and injury. Soothing videos demonstrate the correct way.

Lilliput Labs has unveiled Mailboxes 1.2 for the iPad. It’s a $2.99 multi-user Gmail client designed to make accessing your Gmail and Google Apps emails easier on a shared iPad while still keeping them private. Mailboxes 1.2 adds offline support and faster account switching.
