According to reports, Walmart will begin carrying the iPad on Oct. 15. The Apple tablet will initially appear in under 1,000 stores, but be available in approximately 2,000 Walmarts by -mid-November.
In May, “Bloomberg Businessweek” reported that Walmart was expecting to offer the iPad for sale at “some U.S. stores” before the end of 2010, a move that could re-double the iPads’ retail presence. Amazon and Target are also carrying the Apple tablet.
