Here are the latest iPhone/iPod touch/iPod/iPad apps announced. You can find ’em at the Apple App Store (http://www.itunes.com/appstore/).

EA Mobile has announced that Reckless Racing for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch is available on the Apple App Store. The game is based on the original top-down racer developed by Sweden-based Pixelbite. The iPad is costs US$4.99, and the iPhone/iPod touch is $2.99.

MadFinger Games has released Samurai II: Vengeance ($2.99), a hack-and-slash action game for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.

Shutterfly, an Internet-based social expression and personal publishing service, has expanded their mobile offerings with the introduction of a free photo-sharing application for the iPad designed to give customers more ways to enjoy and share their photos stored at Shutterfly.com.

iAPPS2GO has introduced iManage and iManage SE, the “Swiss Army Knife” of contact management for iOS devices. It utilizes inline dialing, inline emailing and inline web browsing to make connecting with friends, family and business associates quick and easy. You can search for contacts by phone number, location or business name and send emails, contact details and make phone calls all within the app, and more. iManage is on sale for $1.99 for a limited time.

News360 has unveiled its free News360 app for iPhone and iPod touch users. It features the ability to follow location based news by topic, track people and companies, and get detailed information on latest news coverage from hundreds of premium sources.

Giorgi Otiashvili has produced Kamasutra Temple HD 1.0 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices. The $0.99 app offers professional HD photos of the ancient, World Heritage Kama Sutra temple, one of the Kajuraho group of monuments in India. Users are treated to history of the building and ancient Indian architecture, along with information about the Kama Sutra statues that adorn the building.

MultiEducator is offering Cruisers of the US Navy 1.0 for the iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch. The Third Navy History product, the $1.99 app features more than 800 high resolution photos that can be viewed in detail. Besides an authoritative history of aircraft carriers commissioned between 1880 and  2009, a total of 280 ships are listed with histories and hi-res photos, all now in the public domain.

BeeGames has rolled out Byte for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Created as a visually engaging futuristic three dimensional shooter, the $1.99 app throws the user into a virtual world replete with dangerous electronic enemies and tasks them with using accurate shooting and flying as well as sharp reactions to assure the users’ survival while simultaneously assuring the demise of any enemies they come across.

Brain Counts has announced a free, “lite” version of Approach to Montessori — Numbers 1.0, their first iPad application in a complete series of Montessori-centric educational apps for kids ages two and up. By taking advantage of the iPad’s touch based multimedia technology, parents can now teach their kids number concepts focusing on the key Montessori principles of learning through doing.

Agile Tortoise has announced Terminology 1.3, an update of the $1.99 reference app for iOS devices. The new version brings spelling suggestions and other user-requested features to both the iPad and iPhone versions of the app.

Brain Counts has released ABC Writing Zoo Animals 1.0, their first iPhone app that teaches kids how to trace the alphabet letters and animal words. By taking advantage of the iPhone’s touch based multimedia technology and portability, parents can teach their kids how to trace the alphabet without the need of paper. The $1.99 app allows the parent to adjust the writing mode to gear towards the child’s learning level, as well as focus on lesson plans to strengthen the child’s weaker points.

Outer Level has unveiled LicenseKeeper for iPhone 1.0, a free companion app for the recently released LicenseKeeper 1.6 for Mac OS X. It provides users the ability to access their software license and registration information on the go. LicenseKeeper for iPhone uses the popular Dropbox file sharing service to sync through the cloud.

Manta Ray Software has produced LifeRhythm 1.0 for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. The $2.99 program allows users to chart their own biorhythm or chart the biorhythm of friends and family. Names and birth dates in the contacts database can be imported into LifeRhythm. The biorhythm charts of two different people can be displayed simultaneously for comparing. LifeRhythm also allows the owner’s biorhythm for the current date to be posted to their Facebook wall.

Infinite Dreams is offering Let’s Create! Pottery HD Lite. The trial version offers all the same features presented in the full version ($4.99) of the game. The apps let you create “one of a kind” pottery items and share them with your friends.

WSL Apps has rolled out Top Tips & Tricks for the iPhone. With more than 100+ tips, the $1.99 app is a compilation of expert guides on shortcuts, hidden features and tricks to master the iPhone and iPod touch. This also includes tips on maximizing battery, faster web browsing, security issues and more. Tips & Tricks includes six categories, featuring general, typing, battery, surfing, SMS and mail, as well as security.

SuperMegaUltraGroovy has released Capo for the iPhone and iPod touch, available now for $19.99. Capo allows musicians to choose music from their iTunes library and helps them learn how to play it by ear.

288 Vroom has scared up The Hunt — Haunted Halloween Episode ($0.99) for iOS devices. In the app, you will “travel to some of the most haunted, most terrifying, and most mysterious real places around the globe.”

Rocket Racing League, a sports and gaming franchise based on competitions of piloted rocket-powered aircraft, says the Rocket Racing League iPad Game is now available. Featuring four race types and eight track locations, the Rocket Racing League is accessible for players of all ages and skill levels. Gamers and app fans can test their piloting and racing skills in single-player career mode or head-to-head against other virtual pilots via Bluetooth or LAN-based Wi-Fi Multi-Player. A global leaderboard lets players show off their scores to friends and other competitive racers around the world.It’s available on the iPad for $4.99 and iPhone or iPod touch for $0.99.

Zynga has grown FarmVille for the iPad, the company’s first app for the platform. The free app, which comes on the heels of FarmVille’s successful launch on the iPhone, creates a cross-platform FarmVille experience. Existing players can tend to their same farms on the web, the iPhone and the iPad while new players can create a farm.

PraiseHymns 1.21 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users has been updated to version 1.2.1. The $1.99 app is essentially a portable hymnal, music trainer and player. It offers 150 hymns, complete with sheet music and piano accompaniment.

Peter Worth has introduced Teshiji Global Super Puzzle 1.1 for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The object of the $0.99 app is to conquer the world one block at a time. Users can indulge in slow, relaxing gameplay or test their puzzle solving abilities by competing with global high scores on Twitter and Facebook.

dBelement has unveiled HiFutureSelf 1.4, an update to their free reminder app for iPhone and iPod touch devices. HiFutureSelf is a light-weight app that allows you to send messages to your future self.

Macoscope has produced Circuloid 1.1, an update of their $5.99 game for the iPad. It’s a classic brick-breaker game, in which the objective is to destroy every object visible on a level with a ball that bounces off the paddles controlled by touching the screen, or rotating the device itself. There are three ways of controlling the paddles, and the game features 54 levels across the first two-part mission.

The college football and men’s basketball site Lost Lettermen is offering Lost Lettermen 1.0.3, its first iPhone app ($0.99) that includes a news feed to the most up-to-date content on its site. Lost Lettermen is a database of 150,000 former college football and men’s basketball players that answers the question “Where are they now?”. The profiles detail each player’s college career, post-college life and current whereabouts.

IngZ has rolled touringZ Austin Edition 1.07 for iOS, a $3.99 touringZ app. The new Austin Edition lists available adventures ordered geographically based on a user’s current location. In addition to more than a dozen bundled tours in and around the Austin area, new features also include the ability to participate in contests and competitions, find the hidden Easter eggs and more.
