Acoustic Research Unveils Docking Stations for Apple and Android

Audiovox Accessories Corp. (http://www.acoustic-research.com/) has introduced a complete line of docking stations from Acoustic Research for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod. A model for Android-based products is also included as well.

Leading the new line of Acoustic Docking Stations is the ARS45i, which produces 30 watts of power and deep bass, according to David Geise, president of Audiovox Accessories Corp.. This docking speaker system offers component and composite video-output for video playback on the consumer’s TV, and a remote control for operating across a room. The ARS45i will be available this spring with a suggested retail price of US$129.99.

The ARS35i offers functionality for an iPad dock. This model has a motorized rotating arm that turns the iPad to landscape or portrait mode. This dock also includes video-output, FM radio, and audio input for MP3 player connection. The ARS35i will be available in March 2011for US$129.99.

The entire front of the iPad-compatible ARS30i is a speaker. It features an LCD display, built-in FM tuner, clock, video-output, and a remote. The main unit allows for docking and charging of iPods and iPhones, as well as the iPad. The ARS30i will be available this spring for $99.99.

The Acoustic Research ARS20i and ARS13i are models for iPad users. The ARS20i offers two different viewing modes for the iPad. It has a digital FM radio and dual wake alarm. The ARS20i will be available this April at a price tag of $79.99.

The ARS13i charges your device while playing games, surfing the web or playing your favorite tunes on your iPad. ARS13i will also be available this spring; the suggested retail price is $39.99.
