On the new “MacVoices” (http://www.macvoices.com), the “Road to Macworld” continues as Nathan Shedroff, program chair, MBA in Design Strategy at the California College of the Arts, discusses “Learning from Science Fiction Interfaces” as a feature presentation at the show.
He explains how to contemplate the workings of science fiction tech from a practical standpoint, and how to use them as problem-solving inspiration. While he admits he’s saving the best information for Macworld, Shedroff helps “MacVoices” listeners understand how everyone from the Department of Defense to Intel are using specific methodologies involving science fiction to solve problems today and tomorrow.
The Road to Macworld 2010 is a special MacVoices series produced in partnership with Macworld to preview some of the exhibitors and presentations at Macworld 2011 in San Francisco from Jan. 26-29 at the Moscone Convention Center.
“MacVoices” is an Internet show and podcast that delivers in-depth discussions with the most influential people in the Mac industry, as well as “the individuals who are out there making it happen on the front lines of the global Apple community,” according to host Chuck Joiner.
