Business software developer, Computech IT Services, have launched version 3 of their BusinessMan software for Mac OS X and Windows. The software allows companies to manage all aspects of their business from prospect first contact to invoice.
It’s a modular, ERP system with CRM capabilities, estimating and invoicing modules, suppliers and inventory modules, a fully integrated email client and also an integrated resource scheduler.
New modules in version 3 include a Project Management Module, with drag-and-drop Gantt charts, task, job and resource allocation, a bill of materials module (BOM) with the ability to build completed and ready-to-build assemblies from inventory.
Enhancements have been applied to virtually every other module in the system, including timeline views in the drag-and-drop resource scheduling module, inventory pricing options and promotional goods, Inventory can now be used as a resource for renting, or to allocate temporarily to a job.
Other features included in BusinessMan 3 are a graphical drag-and-drop category based inventory and products system, including customer/product discount groups. Estimates and orders can be built using drag-and-drop of inventory items, ensuring all the right elements are chosen.
Unlimited jobs or work orders can be generated from sales orders and scheduled for time management. Time sheets, purchase orders and other costs are recorded against the job and the customer order to get accurate costs for each sale.
Security and auditing prevent the accidental modification of data and full traceability of modifications and user actions. Multi-currency estimating, sales order processing and purchase order processing has been enhanced in addition to document management and human resource management modules. Sales and purchase ledgers are included to allow integration into popular accounting systems such as Sage, Quick Books and other open systems.
The addition of financial and sales and financial “Dashboards” allow a quick look view for outstanding deliveries, quotations, sales to date, sales snapshot figures, sales graph Quick View, purchase order status, goods awaiting despatch. Each snapshot is contained in an easy to read view within the specific modules and can be drilled down to get to specific information and searched at a group or individual sales person level.
