March may be wrapping up with a short list of activities on “The MUG Event Calendar, “but quality trumps quantity this week.
Kyle Wiens of MacFixIt will be the featured presenter at an Ohio group, and MUG Center Editor/MacVoices Group producer Chuck Joiner will talk Mac User Groups and more with a new group who has set up shop in Qatar. Other topics up for discussion this week include going paperless, Twitter, social media, iMovie ‘11, Macworld highlights and more.
“The MUG Event Calendar” can be found at The MUG Center (http://www.mugcenter.com), an online resource for Mac User Groups. MUGs are good places for making new friends in the Mac community, improving your computing skills, finding solutions to technical problems, and perhaps locating a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple’s MUG page (http://www.apple.com/usergroups/).
