LogMeIn’s free screen-sharing service, join.me (https://join.me/), has added new iPad and iPhone capabilities to simplify collaboration with mobile colleagues and customers.
The updated join.me mobile viewer iOS app debuts a new VoIP option that lets users listen in and converse during an online meeting or screen-sharing session. Like the join.me web service, the iPad and iPhone viewer app is free and doesn’t require registration. The join.me iPad/iPhone app is available as a free download or update from the Apple App Store .
Launched in October 2010, join.me is a screen sharing product designed for informal online meetings and ad hoc “show-and-tell” collaboration. The service offers free screen sharing and online meetings for both personal and commercial use for up to 250 participants. A pro version of the service with extended functionality is available for a monthly or annual subscription.
