Nisus Software has released Nisus Writer Pro 2, an update of their word processor for Mac OS X.
New features in Nisus Writer Pro 2 include track changes, a suite of drawing tools, watermarks, paragraph-level borders and shading, EPUB export, a customizable special characters menu and palette, as well as saved PDF files create clickable links for cross-references, page numbers in generated TOCs/Indexes, hyperlinks and more.
There have also been additions to the Nisus Macro Language, and a host of bug fixes and other features and enhancements. These new features add to an already rich feature set that includes an intuitive interface, multilingual text support, powerful find and replace, easy to use style system, multipart selections, full screen mode, and a native file format (RTF) that almost any word processor can read, says Nisus CEO Jerzy Lewak.
Nisus Writer Pro 2 is Universal Binary so runs natively on both PowerPC and Intel Macs. It requires Mac OS 10.4.11 or later.
Nisus Writer Pro 2 is available now at the Nisus web store (http://www.nisus.com) for US$79. An upgrade version is available for $49. A three-license Family Pack is available for $99.00. Versions on CD are available for an additional $10, plus shipping.
